Default Good red dot sight for Buckmark .22LR pistol?

I'm looking for a red dot sight for my Buckmark pistol. What do you guys recommend? Something fairly inexpensive.

You can get a nice Millet red dot that won't break the bank (check Natchez or MidwayUSA). You can also think about NCStar. I know they make a very small on that is only about $30 or so. Now I don't know what your thoughts are but NCStar is made in China.

Go online to Midway and you will see how many different red dot optics they have to sell. This will give you ideas and then you can price shop as you see fit.

Get an Ultradot. The last I knew the best price on them was $140 for the 30 mm model from Gil Hebard Guns. He doesn't do internet sales so you'll have to call on the phone to place your order. 309-289-2700

Don't bother with NCStar or Simmons, they are absolute junk.

Almost forgot! If you wear prescription glasses be sure to use your glasses when shooting the red dot

    I agree on the UltraDot.

A very sturdy, durable scope that can even withstand the recoil of my .44Mag factory loads whether shot from my Ruger SRH (no longer w/me) or my S&W 629 (still going strong!!).

I currently have my Ultradot 1" mounted on my 6" barreled S&W 617.

    Good luck with your choice!!

BTW, I think the best price you can get on the UltraDot is at MidwayUSA.

    Stay well.

Not a fan of Tasco scopes, but I put a ProPoint PDP3 on one of my 454s 2 years ago and this thing has been rock solid.

+1 for the Ultradot. I have one on my Buckmark and love it. I bought from Larry's Guns. Very quick turn around...

Unfortunately I bought an 80 dollar NStar before I researched enough. It is garbage. Wasted my money.

I've been using a Primary Arms micro dot mounted on a tacsol rail for about 6 years or so now. Replaced the battery once (just a precaution before a big match). Never had any issues with it not hold my a zero either.

She I put together a dedicate rimfire challenge Buckmark, I went with a c-more and an Allchin c-more mount. The mount is not a rail, and gets the dot down closer to the bore. It helped me with finding the dot quicker when bringing the gun up.
