Unhappy Pennsylvania is in for some hard times....

The Government stimulus package given to the state of Pennsylvania is much needed... The problem I have is that none of it will be given to State Parks or State forests... Why is this a problem? While the car industry is begging for a bail out, our State Parks are starting to suffer. Two or three years down the road I am more likely to visit a State Park/Forest more than once, before I buy a car... Personally I like foreign cars more than the US made ones... No offence to you Ford and Chevy fans... Now the reason why we should give some money to State Forest/Parks is because it brings business to the community around it. It is a trickle down affect.... Even tho sportsmen and sports enthusiasts like kayaking and hikers are small, they buy equipment like hunting licenses, guns ammo, cloths, calls, kayaks, food and other things. The sporting industry brings in a around $40 Billion a year. Now if we keep cutting the funding to these facilities we may lose them in the near future. I don’t know about all of you but I love my natural surroundings and don’t want fast eddy F-ing it up for everyone else for poor spending... Anyone else have anything else to add or an opinions?

Whoa Whoa Whoa... I dont think this stimulus bill is anything more then a democratic wish list. The parks are about the last thing we should be throwing money at. How would that increase revenue? Look into this bill, total b.s. man, before you start telling people to support it. How about write your senator and request a tax cut. That would put money back into the economy faster then anything. If this thing passes socialism will be right around the corner. Fukc that pos obama. dammit!!!!!!!!!

The state of Pennsylvania does not need a bailout. I'm going to lose my job on April 3rd. I'm starting to cut back on some things, and saving some money. The state needs to do the same thing. It's called a budget. I know the Philadelphia crook in the governors mansion thinks that life should just go on like nothing is happening, but the fact is, things suck right now. It's time for the welfare people to participate in this little downturn just like the rest of us. Work or starve. Good motto don't you think?

tes151 gets it. Look at government as a business, a poorly run business. We the people have been bailing them out for I don't know how long with our increased taxes. The government is the most poorly run business of them all and obama has the audacity to criticize the private sector!? Now they have run out of excuses and everyone sees the government for what it really is. Off topic but this shit is infuriating and I can't help myself.

The solution is not SOCIALIZING everything and "bailouts."

Before you get pounced too hard I'm just going to say that your intention while well mannered only lacks true knowledge of what a capitalist society is.

cap·i·tal·ism Pronunciation: \ˈka-pə-tə-ˌliz-əm, ˈkap-tə-, British also kə-ˈpi-tə-\ Function: noun Date: 1877 : an economic system characterized by private or corporate ownership of capital goods, by investments that are determined by private decision, and by prices, production, and the distribution of goods that are determined mainly by competition in a free market

Capitalism set up early on in this country's history was established to provide fair business practices and an economic climate suitable for any man or woman-(in the later years) to be successful in marketing (a) product(s) to the populace. It allows for any person with an idea and ambition to become whatever they choose. The down side to the system is that you only get out what you put in. This practice of labor does not sit well with everyone...

: so·cial·ism Pronunciation: \ˈsō-shə-ˌli-zəm\ Function: noun Date: 1837 1: any of various economic and political theories advocating collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods2 a: a system of society or group living in which there is no private property b: a system or condition of society in which the means of production are owned and controlled by the state3: a stage of society in Marxist theory transitional between capitalism and communism and distinguished by unequal distribution of goods and pay according to work done.

Setup with the lazy in mind it puts everyone on a equal level. Doctor or Micky D's clerk all the same because the .gov will make your life great!!!

Whereas you may not know for lack of understanding or age. In a complete capitalist society you would be free to own as much land as you wish and do with it as you would making whatever profit or lack thereof as you choose.

I hope this helps and makes sense. Bail outs, .gov handouts, all = bad.

Are you 'Merriam' or 'Webster'? Your typing syntax & diction are impressive. You must be a Cambridge scholar or big fan of the popularly known book "The dictionary that could", LOL, J/K bro`.
