    Default Metal detectors at the kimmel center?

    I'm taking the train to the Kimmel center this weekend to see a play with my girlfriend. I'd rather not go unarmed on public transportation. Does anybody know if they have metal detectors in the lobby? I'd hate to show up at the door and have to turn around and go home, so I need to know this before I head out.

    I was there about a month ago, and no, they did not have metal detectors that I noticed.

    Also, you are not "supposed" to have the freedom to carry anything on public-transportation.

    No detectors

    I saw the Glenn Beck Christmas sweater there in december and carried concealed no problem and then we stopped by Ruth Chris steak house one block away
    its a bit spendy, show the lady a nice time. the steak just melts in your mouth!

    Hey guys,

    Just bumping this to the top rather than starting a new thread.

    I'm taking the wife to Philadelphia in a few weeks for a concert at the Kimmel Center. We'll be staying just up the street.

    Anyone have any knowledge of any prohibitions on carrying in the Kimmel Center or Reading Terminal Market?

    When I went back in February of 2013 there was no issue. Anyone been there lately to confirm this?

    I cannot speak for Kimmel Center; however, the Reading Terminal Market should not be an issue for concealed carry.
