I picked up every case after I was done shooting. Every one looked fine - no nicks, scratches, scarring, etc.

After shooting both Blazer offerings, my handgun has been really clean, so take that for what it's worth.

As far as price, I can't speak to that. All I can say is brass at Wal-Mart ($9.47) is cheaper than aluminum at the shop where I bought my gun ($9.98). I would imagine that AL is cheaper when compared head-to-head at the same store.

maybe, but on the site it says:
All brass for remanufacture to be sent bulk, not in their 50 round trays or bags. No Blazer,

crimped military or Berdan cases accepted. All brass subject to our inspection and count. No deprimed cases accepted.
which seems to say that he knows its brass, and wont take it

    On that last part:

"brass" is generic for "casings" too..

The "No Blazer" is because there was a time that all Blazer was aluminum/alloy casings - which you cant reload. The berdan isn't easily reloadable. The mil-crimp is also extra work to reload.

Pretty much all that i have stocked up right now is the blazer NR aluminum stuff, helped on price a little, its all from online sites. i have shot a ton of it so far and no problems. seems pretty clean also, can't complain about the accuracy either. But i've never seen blazer brass at a wal-mart. do only some of the stores carry it?

I need to start thinking about buying ammo in bulk or reloading soon....

both of my local Superwalmarts(in StateCollege) are out of(As of Monday):

    ALL 9mm
    ALL .357mag
ALL .38spl(They did have .38SPL+P, until I bought last one)
    ALL .45ACP FMJ
    ALL .223

And guy at the counter had no idea when/if they are gonna get more ammos in
I donno about other less common caliber like .44mag, .32ACP, and .380ACP. Don't own anything in those calibers, so wasn't looking
Both stores did have plenty of .40S&W tho. And I don't own anything in .40S&W
