    Default On-Line Reloading Manuals

Can anyone recommend a good site for hand loading. I have couple of old books and they seem to have the same info as some of the on-line sites that I’ve viewed. The only thing missing was some of the newer powders. Handloads.com seemed good, but I would like to know your experience. I’m only interested in reloading .357/.38 & maybe 9mm at this time and don’t really need another book laying around after I get the right mix. Don’t take that the wrong way, but why buy a book with recipes for cartages that I will never load.

I forget the name of the books, but there is a line of books that are caliber specific. I see them at Cabela's and on Midway or CTD. It never hurts to have some extra info laying around. You don't know that you will never need it unless you are a miser and don't share anything with anyone. By that I mean that if someone knows you reload and asks if you know a load for, say, the .44mag. You can look in your book and give said person the info. No insult intended.

You might also want to try loaddata.com it's a paid site but it is only $30.00 a year and is part of Handloader magazine

I'd rather pay $30 and buy books that I only have to pay for once than pay $30/year and read loads people use. Once you find a good load your gun likes, stick with it.
