Default Talk me out of buying a CZ-75b or D

A local shop had one each of these with I believe the B being Checz (not ppls republic) made and I liked them both very much. I really liked the solid feel of these and thought the heaviness would help reduce recoil. I have taken a liking to our clubs Practicle rifle shoots and for the pistol part I need something more in line with what others are shooting, either 9mm .40 or .45 .

Does anyone here have any experiance with these? Opinions? Would you rather have a Decocker or Safety? Would the heavy frame of the gun help with recovery and reaquisition of the target like Im thinking?

    Any and all help appreciated.

These are very well made guns. if you are going to carry it for protection i would recomend the decocker. i have a 9mm with the decocker and its nice for carry, if you pull it you dont have to fumble with a safety in a stressful situation just pull the trigger and its in double action then single action for each shot after that. if you are just using this at the range i woud go with the safety because each shot would be single action and more predictable. I do not know all the different models so check them out good before you buy so you know what you are getting.

I have the CZ-75 SP-01 Tactical. I love it! It fits mau hands really well and so far has eaten any ammo without a failure. I did a review of the pistol. Here is the link:

They're quality guns, no worries about buying one IMHO...but the Single Action version is the one that keeps catching my eye.

Custom holsters are the way to go with CZ. If indeed you do get one.

These guys make awesome holsters. The wait is a tad long (12-16 weeks) but their holsters are amazing.

12-16 weeks isn't long at all for leather. Try 12-16 months...
