Default Hi-cap restricted state technicality question

My sister lives in Kalifornia and she wants to buy me some 30-rd AR magazines and have them shipped directly to me. Does this violate the hi-cap restrictions imposed by KA?

Most websites say that they cannot ship to CA, NJ, MA and other restrictive states. If she buys them and has them shipped to you that should be completely legal. IANAL.

They're just like small children, Its an EGO thing, " well if I can't have it this way, then I want it this way"..WAAAAAH - BrownBear (speaking of liberals)

Yeah, this is exactly my interpretation, but I just wanted to make sure that her is no gotcha. Thanks.

If they really are a gift to you, then it's okay. If she's buying them, having them shipped to you, so you can in turn ship them to her, that would be illegal...and if there is ever a situation where they are found in her possession in CA, they will be able to trace her purchase of them, and the shipping to you.

If they really are for her, better to not do it. If they really are a gift...have her buy a couple for me too

Legal for her to have them shipped to you. She cant import them into KA..

Just have her add your address onto her credit card company account for "shipping addresses". Then the difference between billing and shipping wont get questioned or flagged during processing. A number of merchandisers refuse to ship to anything other than the billing address unless the credit card company has it in their records.

IANAL, but as long as they do not enter Kal my understanding is that it's OK.

Yeah it just noone is going to want to ship to an address not on the card. Well, at least noone with 2 rocks to shake around in their head. It screams scam.

I won't ship to any address that isn't the primary billing address on the card. Signature required, no redirects. Because the scamming in the car parts world is out of control.
