Hey guys, Just wanted to see what was going on. I was looking through the forums an saw this. Thought Id say hello. An ask if anyone knows a place to get used handguns around this area? That arnt heavy on the pockets?

Welcome!! Shydas in Lebanon seems to have decent used gun pricing, just depends on what you are looking for though.

Im looking for a 9mm or a .40 something to carry. An a gun for my girlfriend. I have checked out bass pro shop. An gander mountian. But gander seems to over price by 100 dollors. On guns I could get brand new for the price they want for a used one. Not tryin to spend over 400 if I can help it. Unless its a good deal for that price.

Ed Bender is in Holly, I like dealing there, sometimes Mike Cole has pistols in the Gun Room at Cole's bike shop in Carlisle.

dont buy at gander or bass pro, go to a local gun shop to look. The same gun I bought at bass pro was $40 cheaper at shydas. Springfields xd's started at 479 i think down there which is decent.

I have had good luck with dealing with Enck's Gun Barn in Newmanstown. Their prices on new and used guns are pretty good and they are fair with trades. It's a little bit of a drive, but they have a good selection and they're pretty good to deal with.

First Welcome Steve here from Mt. Holly I deal with Ed Bender from time to time also and find him very good.....There are others in the area that are trustworthy also...Any help I can be Just ask...Enjoy the day

I took your advice, I went to ed's an walked out with a new ruger p95 an a box of shells for like 350. He didnt talk much though. Weirded me out a bit lol. Being my first handgun I've bought. But, all an all good service. An a nice guy. After I get my LTC Ill go in there an pick up some Defensive shells. I didnt see any holsters there though.

Don't worry, Ed is generally quiet until you get to know him some. He doesn't have a very big holster selection, but he can order you pretty much anything you want or point you in the right direction.

Yea That's the way Ed is....I've found him very fair in my dealings with him thou....Also there are other dealers in the area that are good too....Enjoy your shooting....Steve
