Default Hats Of To Mayor Bloomberg

Just was released that Michael Bloomberg was the most charitable individual in 2008! He donated 250 million+/- I believe to 1200 organizations.
I certainly have my differences with him on some things but my hat is off to a man in these times trying to do good for our Country.

Yeah, using your political persuasion to sue firearm dealers into bankruptcy does a lot of good for this country.

He gave to charity. Which groups and what causes?
    Gun-control groups or gun-rights groups?
Groups that helped get votes for him? The money spent on them is really for him and is far from praise.

The only way I would take my hat off to Bloomberg would be to bitch slap him with it.

Because someone does not support one of the things that is very important to all of us doesn't diminish the good he has also tried to do in other areas!

I guess I prefer to try and look for the good in people instead of just focusing on the negative.

Whatever money he handed out was for nothing more than to make him look good for a possible run for president. He is as elitist as they come and has a superiority complex. I'm not sorry, but i do not share in your belief.

How does a mayor make 250 million in one year? Let alone make enough to donate 250 million and still live the life he most assuredly does?

    Honest question.

Or did he "donate" 250 million of taxpayer dollars?
