NRA Basic Pistol - Gettysburg

Co-ed Basic Pistol Course - The Adams County Sport Handgunners Association (ACSHA) offers the National Rifle Association's Basic Pistol Course. Our NRA certified instructors will teach you the basics of handgun safety, care,operation and marksmanship. It's a great way to introduce new shooters to handguns and a refresher course for those of you who haven't picked up a gun in a while. Facility and management are first class.

If you live in the area, membership fees are modest, IIRC $40 first year / $25 thereafter, absolutely worth it at many times that price.

FOLKS, WE HAVE HAD SUCH A TREMENDOUS RESPONSE THAT WE ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTING REQUESTS FOR APPLICATIONS FOR THIS COURSE. OKAY, I'M NOT SURE WHAT ELSE OUR PRESIDENT IS STIMULATING, BUT GEEZ IS THERE A HUGE INTEREST IN FIREARM TRAINING (AND FIREARMS, AMMO AND ACCESSORIES IF THE YORK GUN SHOW WAS ANY EVIDENCE). PLEASE CHECK BACK TO PAFOA TO WATCH FOR FUTURE SCHEDULED CO-ED COURSES AT OUR CLUB. WE HAVE ONE SCHEDULED IN AUGUST, MORE MAY BE FORTHCOMING.

OUR WOMEN-ONLY COURSE IN MAY IS STILL ON AND THERE IS STILL ROOM IN THAT ONE.
