NFA weapons in westmoreland co.?

I recently purchased a yankee hill supressor and p22 pistol and I am in the process of getting my BATFE form 4 application completed.

Anyone here had to deal with the sheriff for the CLEO signatures? I heard that it isn't a big deal in westmoreland and he will sign.

Has anyone else got a signature? If so how did you go about it?

The sheriff is pretty good about signing and everyone in the department friendly. His office is located in the Courthouse in Greensburg. Call first to see if he will be in, then go into the desk (downstairs) and ask to see him. They will ask why, tell them you would like to ask him to sign for an NFA transfer

For the first time I would take some reference material...C&R license, employment info, homeowner, voter etc.

I am a C3 dealer near Greensburg if you ever need transfers etc.
