Default Gunshot Demographics -- anyone see this?

    Gunshot Demographics

The ugly underbelly of the anti-gun-rights position

How "The Bad Part of Town" and failed social policies
are used for sinister attacks on the right to keep and bear arms.

While anti-rights activists speak emotionally about
"gun violence""gun deaths" "human tragedy" and saving lives,
what they refuse to say is this—
    See the rest here http://www.gunlaws.com/GunshotDemographics.htm
Of every one hundred men in battle, ten should not even be there. Eighty, are nothing but targets. Nine are the real fighters, we are lucky to have them since they make the battle. Ah, but the one—one is the Warrior—and he brings the others home. —Heracletus

Very interseting. It's funny that you can get called a racist if you say "it's just the brothersshootng each other" but look at the facts. Very interseting indeed.

None of this is new information to Criminologists. It is a FACT that some demographics commit more crime than others. It is also a FACT that the majority of violent crime occurs in zone 2.

So yes, violent crime IS a demographic problem, but it is ALSO an ecological, and even more so, a social problem. The article in the OP touches on one of the many issues with the mainstream media's portrayal of violence, but it fails to do so in any novel way. Yes, it may be new to some of us, but to those of us who study this stuff, this is yesterday's news.

What should really be getting folks up in arms is the willful silence of the National Criminal Justice Association on these issues. When the American Medical Association decides that part of the egg is bad for us, we hear about it the next day. When the NCJA COULD say something about crime and the portrayal of violence in the mainstream media, they're silent. What good are these academic associations if they don't share their knowledge?

Department of Justice website has what you are looking for. Murder rates among non-blacks are several times higher in Canada and UK than the USA, for instance.

Good find. It basically reiterates what we already know, but seeing all those thumbtacks really bangs it home.

I laughed. It goes homicides, then goes black people - looks the same. Next it goes white people - 4 specs. Who's really brave enough to openly make a point with that? I'm scared for just seeing this.

The next statistic will be: white nerdy guys who frequent online forums.
