Default Stupidity of criminals is amazing!

I was just watching channel 13 news. A burglar broke into the Walnutport McDonalds last night at 1am. He was seen leaving the darkened closed restuarant with a paper bag by an officer.

A few times a week I drive that road at that time. I frequently see the Police on patrol. I know that if I pass the patrol car as he's on Rt 145 up by Rita's I'm running a bit early..its between 12:50 and 1am. IF I see the cruiser driving up to Kmart its at least after 1am (possibly 1:15 am) and I'm LATE!

    Here's the stupid part.
From just before 1am sometimes until 1:15 am hes PARKED DIRECTLY ACROSS FROM McDonalds to view the intersection!!!! If you're gonna burglarize a store at least know where the POLICE ARE!!!

BTW, dont you think it might be smart if they vary the patrol route and times?
if you ever see my post edited...its most likely for speling :D

It seems like it wouldn't make any difference, at least in this case. If the patrol routine would be varied, the officer may not have been there to see the burglar leave, but what's the difference anyhow? It says the officer saw him leave, it doesn't say that the suspect was apprehended.
