New Season of LOST!

Fuckin LOVE Lost, but I missed the last 5 episodes or so from the last season and my Netflix didn't get to me in time, so I've just got to catch up on Lostpedia in the next few minutes.

If you don't see me on the forum from 8-11, it is because of my addiction to LOST!!

My friend and I both became addicted when we lived together in college and when Lost was on, we made our other two roomies leave the living room, shut off our cell phones, then cranked the television volume up as loud as it would go. If the house phone would ring, it was usually the one roomie's boyfriend calling and if he called during Lost time, we'd glare at her until she grabbed the phone and left the room.

Same thing when I lived with Amber and let her "boyfriend" crash with us for half the week; same thing when I lived with my parents. LOST TIME IS QUIET TIME!

The one exception was during the season two premiere when my mom, two of my friends, and I took turns repeatedly calling each other: Can you believe it? There's a dude in that hatch!! How long has he been there? It looked just like a flashback! Hey, he's kinda hot! OMG!

Good, dorky times.

Well I guess you guys are all watching lost right now. Ahhhhhhhhh. Guess I'll have to catch it tomorrow on hulu.com. Man, I envy you guys.

Well, it's an hour into the show and things are getting Doctor Who-Slaughterhouse Five-ape shit crazy.

You know, with a good handful of fans here on the forum we should get a chat n watch going every week. We could put it in one thread and just "revive" it for each new episode. Then just post on the commercials of course. Wouldn't want to miss a second!!!

It also proves they had no idea where the show was going to go and are now making it up.

I used to be a lost NUT, and Lindelof and Cuse had promised the fans they'd never make it about time travel...which they blew last season, and furthermore this season.

Im still interested, it just gives me less of an "awe" factor on how cool the storyline was. It was better when everything was self contained to the island and the mystery stemmed from there - still a lot of questions from the island's history that are unanswered. (four toed statue for example).

So what about the guns on the show? What kind did Sayid ( however you spell his name) have last night, the one with the suppressor? Has anyone spotted any XD's by chance?

Also do they portray anything properly with shooting of people? I took note that Anna Lucia - or whatever her name was/is- was shot in the heart by Michael and there was almost no blood and she went pretty fast- that was authentic. Other stuff I saw was typical Hollyweirdish, but there is alot and many years now, hard to recall it all!
