Default FWIW: looks like aim surplus' site is down

I've been trying to get there for the past day or so, and have not been able to. Maybe they didn't pay some hosting fees or something...but the site is definitely down.

No doubt, the site is down.
It was up and running Friday when I got home from work.
    No warning, no re-direction, nothing.
That sucks, I liked dealing with them.
If anyone finds a way to get back to them at any other web address please post it here.
I'll try to call them Monday or Tuesday to see if I can get any insight about what's happening.

I don't have a short temper, I just have a quick reaction to bullshit.

From what I read elsewhere, someone was saying that they were totally overwhelmed with the crush of demand pre-Obama. In fact, they had closed down to walk-in business for the time being due to these issues.

That's the message I get now too. A little while ago it was a different message, it looked like the site didn't even exist.

they were still a month behind on shipping.
with this being the weekend before "we" swear in "our" new dictator, they very well might have just pulled the plug for a few days.
it's only metal, we can out think it....
