Question Gas block question on my Stag

Hey all, Just got a Stag Model 6 (5.56 w/ bull barrel). It came with a low profile gas block but I want to put a gas block with a picantinny rail on it. The mfr. hasn't been much help when I asked which size gas block I should get. The barrel measures .925" at the muzzle. I am seeing several sizes out there like .936, .940.. Anyone out there have an idea of which diameter I should get for this barrel? Any help is appreciated, thanks!

It's probably impossible to tell without putting a dial caliper on the barrel. Check to see what the diameter is at the gas block and order accordingly. If you don't have a dial caliper, you *could* measure circumference and refer to pi.

Go to Harbor Freight. You'll spend less than $20 for a digital, less for a dial, depending on the current sales. Will pay back may time over for stuff like this.

I would love to know too, I just picked up a Stag M6 and would like the option of putting irons on at some point later. If you find out the dimension and/or what works please post it.

    Thanks
