What is a trigger shoe?

While looking at a Colt Diamondback on Gunbroker, I saw what appeared to be a couple of holes on the trigger. I emailed the seller to inquire, and he said it was equiped with a "trigger shoe". I don't know what that is. Anybody?

Looks like a add on to increase the width of the trigger and it gives it some bling!!!

correct , most all of us used them back in the 70's . haven't seen one in 15 years or so , kind of like the old Tyler T grip adapter . we used both on most of our old S&W revolvers
