In a nutshell, am a middle-aged, very 'late-bloomer' with guns, having made first gun purchase back in late '07.
95% of my plinking is alone: fairly flat learning curve but shoot often at floating fruit, a swimming cottonmouth snake.

Would a Mini 30 muzzlebrake reduce most of the muzzle rise?
I'm skinny but recoil does not hurt or bug me (my only pad is on the SKS to lengthen the short stock), but wonder about muzzle rise. Would like to go with somebody one day to hunt feral pigs here in western TN or nw MS with x39 jhp ammo.
