I wanted to watch BSG ever since it came out, but I just didn't have time to stay on top of it! Maybe I'll get the box sets someday and plow through them in a weekend!

I think the only way to explain Earth being Nuked, is to have the story line flip, that they were actually returning home. Humans returning to the planet where they originated from in a distant forgotten past. finding out their ancestors originally left the Earth, just prior to or just as it was destroyed.
The final cylon I have no clue who that might be, Starbuck would be too easy an answer.
I do believe there is a spin-off Caprica coming.

Sorry but I watched that piece of crap for two episodes when it first came out and couldn't STAND it ... I have NEVER seen such overacting in all my life and I actually liked that guy before I saw that ... it's like they took the worst and campiest of soap operas and gave it a major shot of adrenalin .. making it twice as annoying as any soap opera could be.

Besides that my son swears the whole thing is written by the government to keep people scared of all sorts of dumb assed terrorist plots.

From what I read this is the last 4 episodes. No more after this. Its a shame it started off as a good series up until the last season. Completely bored with the whole "gods" thing. And as far as the last Cylon.............I think its Admiraml Adama.

I'm quite curious to find out what exactly happened to earth.

My guess: Lee Adama is the final cylon. What could be more shocking? Besides, nothing that good-looking can be real.
