Picked up a slender Italian last night.
Has a red dot scope on it, but I'm going to remove it.
American Flag engraved on receiver. I think this is one of the coolest features.
Skeletonized stock, non collapsible.

Nice pick up.
That stock looks like it would be collapsible..
I love the engraved American flag also.
Congrats. Be safe.ZRT -SECTOR-7

IIRC the Flag being engraved on the side was a mark of a special run. I can't remember the specifics since that was considerably more expensive than my Saiga-12 at the time.
Nice looking gun though, have always wanted oneThe resident Saiga snob

Beautiful, or Bello!
Just out of curiosity why would you want to remove the dot sight???

I wouldn't exactly call that a "slender Italian" but then again that one will probably stand up to a little more use and abuse that a slender one would. Nice pick up. Congratulations!

Re: Picked up a slender Italian last night.
Only 2,500 made between 1994 and 2004 . . . (get the non collapsible stock now?)
I have to get a $180 part to make it collapsible.
Hell, if you have an M4 and convert to that stock, it can cost $800, and you still need the $180 part.
I'm going to keep the red dot sight, just remove it.
Oh--and aside from whatever factory testing . . . . never fired.Last edited by ReefBlue; January 16th, 2009 at 07:15 PM.
