    Default Transfering a hand gun

    How do I go about Transferring a handgun to my son in law. I'm a resident of Pa. he is a resident of Conn.

    The gun must go via a FFL in Conn.
    The FFL in Conn must insure all laws are followed. You cannot ship the firearm to the FFL in Conn. via the USPS. SO first ya gotta find a FFL willing to do the transfer. They will charge for this service.

    Or ship it to the FFL yourself using UPS or FedEx.

    I guess I wasn't clear I only said you can't ship it via USPS. Shoulda added you can by common carrier eg FEDEX or UPS. But you still need to find a FFL in Conn. willing. Not all will do it. I might also add the pistol must meet any existing Conn. laws I have no clue about laws in Conn.
