Hiding your gun purchases from your wife?
Do any of you guys hide your gun purchases from your wife? Over the years I've purchased a few guns and never told my wife. Usually I keep them locked in my safe, which she doesn't go in. Does make me a bad husband?
Its not like we are hurting for money, we only have one car payment, the house is paid off, and we both work. I don't golf or have any expensive habits (other than fine cigars).

Re: Hiding your gun purchases?
I had always had those guns,if that don't work play dumb and cross your fingers.
I try and not to buy to many at once and keep them all in the safe. She don't shoot so I don't worry about taking them to the range cause she don't come anyway.

No, I would not hide a purchase from her just as I would not like her hiding a major purchase from me.

Re: Hiding your gun purchases?
No, not the gun purchases... usually those are "Christmas gifts" anyway.
The real problem is ammo. My wife doesn't understand the need to purchase ammo in quantities larger than what is shot in a brief trip to the range.
(There IS a need for large quantities of ammo, right?)
"You don't NEED any more ammo."
"But it's on SALE!"
