Grandma uses gun to defend herself

I was flipping channels today and saw a clip of an old woman with a .38 revolver in her hand. I figured Id see what it was. Turns out it was Inside Edition doing a report of a 70 year old woman who used her .38 snubby to keep an intruder at bay until the cops hauled him off. They had the 911 call and she kept telling the operator "I dont want to kill anybody but if he comes any close Im gonna kill him." I was shocked to see a positive story on such a Hollywood centered "news" show. Anybody else happen to catch it?

I saw it...did you see where the reporter crouched in the kitchen so she could re-enact the scene? She pointed the revolver right at him! And just seconds before, it showed her closing the cylinder with rounds in it! I about shit until the reporter announced that the gun was unloaded when pointing at him! LOL

I wish i could take my grandmother into shooting, My buddy's mom is almost 80 and she has a single shot 12 gauge that she knows how to use and i would guess if SHTF she would.. the the only gun she wants...

I loved it. The dispatcher mentions that there was a car crash and that the suspect might be the one from the crach. She then asks the woman "is he hurt?" If I was the woman with the gun, I'd have said "if you don't get here quick, he's gonna be!"
