Any experience with The-Tactical-Store?

Trying to buy the Mantis magazine loader from them. Ordered it last night and get an e-mail today that says the following:

We are unable to process your order as the CVC number on your credit card was not entered.

The CVC is 3 numbers on the white strip on the back of your credit card.

If you will answer this email with the CVC number we can process and ship your order.

We await your reply,

I think this is pretty shady, seeing as how when I go back to double-check, I did indeed enter that number into the order form.

Has anyone ordered from this site? Should I give them that number through the e-mail, or just wait to see if the credit card gets charged and/or if I get the product?

Having recently been a victim of stolen credit card number, DON'T give them any info via email.

Personally I would see if there was a contact number and attempt to call them. That way they can't say that you didn't respond if the email is from them and if it isn't from them you have alerted them to something their legal beagles need to look into.

Thanks for the advice, gentlemen. I e-mailed them to cancel the order. I haven't received a response, and I don't know what that means, but I'm going to keep an eye out for any fishy charges on the CC. If I don't get a response in a day or two, I will end up calling.

Even if this company is legit, they shouldn't ask for personal information via standard e-mail. I'm staying away from this outfit and will buy the loaders on eBay.
