I have a PACT Club Timer. Has a nice loud signal that I can hear w/ my earmuffs on. Gives you the time for each shot, basic stuff, etc. Think they go for about $130 or so.

I have a CED 7000. It cost around $120. I like it because it is small and light. I'd recommend it to anyone but I am sure everyone has something they like. All I can say is it was worth the money.

    Good luck...

I also got the CED 7000. It's the only one I've own so I cant really compare, but I an able to turn down the beep and turn up the sensitivity and I'm able to time my dry fire practice.

It is also a nice small size that fits in my range bag nicely.

+1 pn the PACT Club Timer, our club uses one for our combat matches.
We replaced an older(really old) PACT timer with it.
It's very user friendly and simple, if you don't need a lot of options.
The CED 7000 does look interesting though.

I bought myself a CED 7000 for christmas (everybody decided to give me cash for some reason) being that it has been butt cold since it arrived, I haven't got a chance to use it much, I used it to time some strings at a rifle match and it seems pretty straight forward

Tried using the iPhone Shot Timer by Sure Fire for dry fire. Not quite sensitive.

I did talk with them, and they said when they jacked up the sensitivity it detected everything. I said this really isn't a concern because when dry firing I endeavor to make sure the room is empty and the firing is the only noise.

    We'll see...
