fast food joints RIPPING ME OFF!!!!

So why is it now that ALL the fast food joints are giving me MUCH less food!!!! I remember when Arby's started selling the French Dip sandwhich that it was at LEAST 6 inches long... now i went there yesterday for lunch got the French dip, it was like 4 inches long!!!!


THEN TODAY, i went to KFC and got their original recipe chicken strip meal... the picture they had up, the strips were as long as the plate.... the ones i got (all three) were like 2 inches long!!!! WTF is going on here! I'm mad.

Gawd dam fast food joints tryin to make a buck!

serving sizes are getting smaller and prices are going HIGHER! i don't get it...

My guess.... inflation... I have been noticing even at the grocery store the price of things are going up while the amount of product is reduced or stays the same. That might have something to do with all these trillions the gov is giving the bankers though .... you know... the same people who caused this economic mess.

i did walk up and ask why the ones in the picture looked a hell of a lot bigger than the ones i got... and they told me that the picture was merely a "representation of the chicken not the actual size of it".

I don't eat at the KC. But I have noticed that Arbys gives less meat when they have their five for $5.00 deal. And our local Arbys doesn't do regular fries anymore.

YEAH DUDE! WTF! Although i HAVE noticed that a medium is now a large and a large is now king size.... or xlarge whatever you want to call it.

I recommend the film "Falling Down". If you haven't seen it, there is one scene you'll love. If you did see it, well, you know what I am talking about.

Portion and box / packaging changes are how they surreptitiously increase their profit margins. Then, when they absolutely have to raise prices, they'll give a little size back, at least temporarily, but not always.

Now 30% more. (after a 45% shrinkage) And only 25% more cost, that's like getting 5% free etc.

Gee, if the Big Three fail, will drive-thrus shortly follow?

Yea, just another reason not to eat fast food.

My friend and I noticed when we would go to Eat n' Park that when you got the 5 piece chicken strip and fries, the 5th strip would be like not even a half a strip. We started telling the waitress when one of us would get it that we wanted all the strips full size... "now of those short crispy strips". They understood and always gave full strips.
