Default Bar next door leaves trash in my yard, who do I write/call?!!!

I live next to a bar/restaurant and they have dumpsters that overflow into my yard. They leave them open and wind blows trash all over my yard. Also their customers leave beer cans and other trash in my yard.

I cleaned everything up tonight, made a complaint to the owner, and took photos. The owner told me “they pick up trash once a week”, “if we get busy the dumpsters get full” “it costs $1000 more to have them pick it up earlier”

I live in Hanover, Pa. Penn Township.

I will continue to take photos and need to know what I can do with this info. Thanks for your help in advance.

My first call would probably to file a complain with the local police. If their trash is blowing out of open cans, its still tantamount to littering. Beyond calling the PD i dont know what else to do other than what you have already done.

I think you can file a complaint with the municipality.

Or...make the best of it and demand free drinks for your inconvenience.

Im sure you could call whoever makes sure bars and restaurants are clean, and make a complain with them.

Im sure they'd LOOOOOVE to come down and hit them with some fines.

but you didnt get this idea from me, or from the PAFOA.

I'm having a "situation" with the corner bar and I'm here to tell you the PLCB will do NOTHING about your or my problem. Your best course of action is to call the city building. Call everyone from the janitor to the mayor. Be persistant enough and somebody will get tired of you calling and do something about it.

    Good luck!

Be a good neighbor and clean it up your self for them.

After bagging it nicely bring it over to them.

Bring it into the bar and give it to the bartender.

If they were extra busy then they made extra money. And can pay for extra pick ups.
