Google Mapping the SGL's

Hey all. So I started Google Mapping the PA State Game Lands. In about an hour I've tagged ohhhhh let's see 3. So it's slow going, but I just wanted to let you guys know a complete list should be up in like a week or so. Is anybody interested in this or am I wasting my time?

once you visit that, open google earth and they will "flow" over...

fck. do you know how helpful that would have been earlier today when trying to find a range in between me and my friend. dammit! well i guess that's one hour lost.

Are you aware that a GIS shapefile for all state gamelands is freely available?

I did a google earth for all the ranges in my area (about 6 I think). Then, I just made a waypoint at every range (visible by satelite, of course), fed it in the GPS, and they're there. Done.

This will have more than just the SGLs, but here's a map that PAFOA members put together. It's open for collaboration.
