H Buffer+Rifle Length Gas System=?
So, I finally have all the parts necessary to install my Vltor EMod Stock. I'm wondering though, if the combination in the thread title could cause function problems. Can anyone lay my fears to rest?

Re: H Buffer+Rifle Length Gas System=?
it should be fine, but you could run into short stroking, what is the weight on your H buffer...we can compare it to the weight on the AR standard buffer..etc...but you should be fine either way.

Re: H Buffer+Rifle Length Gas System=?
I don't know. I can't find specs and I don't have an appropriate scale . I did find that a rifle buffer weighs 5 oz., a CAR buffer 2.8 oz. and an H2 buffer 4.4 oz.. So, the H buffer is somewhere between 2.8 and 4.4 but that doesn't help me much. I'm guessing that if I do have a problem, I should go with an H2. Or am I missing some counterintuitive point?
