There is none in PA. Only a handful or more of communist states have caps. If you're in PA, the only time you are carrying too much ammo in your gun or on your person is when you're on fire or drowning.

My apologies. ...so used to seeing n00b questions.

Um, www.handgunlaw.us and one of the NRA sites would most likely have the info. In know the NRA does, but not as a map. You have to look at each individual state's info.

Or if you have so much spare ammo on you that you can't reach for your gun.

"Yeah, I have 4000 rounds of ammo on me right now... my gun? Its right.... um... right.... ah...." *turns around* "its right there behind my hip, see?"

2 off hand, in OK you can't have a cal bigger than 45, and in AZ you can only carry one handgun. Why OK and AZ has these restrictions dumbfounds me, both states have way less population per sq mi than most states.

I am not sure that this list actually addresses the OP's specific question. Some states such as those on this list, have across the board limits on mag capacity -- period. That is why there are 5 round mags for ARs and Mini-14's, etc. I that is what this list is related to. I read the OP's question to be specific to CCW.

Those 5rnd mags are for hunting firearm capacity limits. Not possession or carry limits.

In several of the states that allow semi-autos to be used to hunt with, you must use 5rnd mags or less.
