    Default Sighting in...

Well after changing my ruger up a little (auto bolt release, new buffer, JB weld on the sear, new tapco stock (which doesent fit right) and a crappy reddot)I took it out and did some shooting today. I was quite surprised that it shot alright, even with the down pressure on the barrel from the stock. I am still waiting for my EOtech clone and pic rail for the receiver, so i just put the $30 tasco reddot on the front barrel cover. I was shooting at about 30ish paces kinda resting on the front of my truck.

    Target,

    and the gun,

Not a bad thought. The gun will most likely still be readily available and affordable long after the evil accessories are not.

I don't have a short temper, I just have a quick reaction to bullshit.

Looks like it shoots well enough.

    JB Weld on the sear?

Tell me more about that please .. or did you post about that somewhere else?

This is just a guess, but it sound like he probably added some material to try to change the way the sear engages and how it functions with the trigger. Meaning a home made trigger job, but I don't know that for sure, let's just see what his reply will be.

I wasent taking my time there, just shooting quite fast. And the reddot's dot is kinda big, i hope to tighten those up a little once i get the new sight.

You put a little JB weld on the sear, and then file it down till you get it just right to remove the pre-traval, here is a link to a page on how to do it. http://rimfirecentral.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=251077
