Default Kahr CW9 or Taurus Millenium Pro

Does anyone have an opinion between the Taurus Millenium Pro or the Kahr CW9? I would like something that will fit in my pocket and is a 9mm. Thanks!

Your gonna need a big pocket for the Mil Pro.

I have an older PT111, and I would not even think of trying to pocket carry it, unless it was a cargo pocket.

I did get to put both in my pocket today at the gunshop and the Kahr wins by far for "thinness". How bout that PT111?

Kahr PM9 is 1/2" shorter than CW9 both ways, same thickness, 2 ounces lighter and very concealable.

and a lot more expensive... based on what he is comparing I'm guessing he is looking at a 400.00 budget (give or take). the PM9's go for 600+

unless he buys the used on in the classifieds :P
The first vehicles normally on the scene of a crime are ambulances and police cruisers. If you are armed you have a chance to decide who gets transported in which vehicle, if you are not armed then that decision is made for you.

Be prepared, because someone else already is and no one knows their intent except them.

My PT111 is the original Millennium model. Way to thick for pocket. Also to long and high, just to big overall for me for pocket carry.
I have a nice OWB for the 111, and a custom kydex IWB.
What I usually pocket carry for trouser pockets is a Kel-tec p3at in a Desantis Nemisis holster, just about as invisible as a wallet.
For jacket and coat pockets a S&W 442.
Don't have a Kahr, never fancied them.

I personally think the Kahr is a much better made pistol. I have known two buddies that had Mil Pros and have had some problems. Nothing major, but little things that would have kept me from using it as a carry piece.

There have been those that have had problems with the Kahrs too. I know Soberbyker had problems with his, and got rid of it. But I think that he is the only one who has had bad luck with one that I have seen on this sight.

I got my betterhalf one (Kahr) to carry as a CC pistol. I'm impressed with the Kahr.

Got my PM9 for $569 new. Have seen at least 2 here in classifieds in $400 range.
and he did say he wanted something to fit in his pocket. Smaller is better.

Just bought a Kahr CW 9 and absolutely love it...the Kahr is going to be the better made gun...also made in USA if that even matters, to me it dose.

Although the length of the cw9 is 1/2" longer, that did not mean much to me when it slipped into my pocket. The fact that it is so thin really was much more important to me. Hopefully if TSHTF,6 rounds of 9mm would be enough. The thing I "did" like about the Taurus PT 111 was that it had a safety. I am still frightened to carry 1 in the chamber at this time.
