Hello Everyone, just signed up to the forum, so I'm a new kid on the block too. Sport/Target shooter: Glock 30, brand new Bushmaster M4A3 that it has been too damned cold to shoot for even the first time, and a brand new Sig P250 Two-Tone (that's actually still on layaway). Just wanted to stick my head out of the gopher hole and say hi to everyone. Look forward to chatting with some like minded firearms enthusiasts like myself.

It also didn't come with a cleaning rod. I could get a .22 kit anywhere, but I want USGI style kit. I'm gonna order one from Brownells (i like them), but I might as well wait and pool up some extra cash and buy a bunch of other goodies along with it. So basically, I'm using the cold weather and cleaning kit excuse to justify buying a gas piston retrofit, stainless match Bbl, and Vltor handgaurd (that can be dremmeled to fit over the piston). I call this: Circular reasoning lol.

Hey Sooper, good to meet you!

Every firearm I've ever had was tested and zeroed within a week of receipt - 90% of the time within 24 hours. There's just something in my genes that won't allow a firearm in the house that is an unknown quantity. And this is coming from a guy that only went shooting twice in the first seven years of the 2000s! (former PRNJ).

You're going to love that Bushie, get out there as soon as your cleaning kit comes!

Hey Sooper....welcome to the jungl...er....forum. You'll find kindred spirits, evil spirits and good spirits here. Watch out for the OC/CC landmines. If you do stumble into them you can retreat to GunBabes to lick your wounds. BTW, did they tell you the new guy has to buy the beer/soda/sandwiches for the next group shoot?
