So ... Mr. Paulison says the whole problem is other countries saving money
Tell you what, I just can't WAIT for this freaking BOZO to get the hell out of Washington. This guy is, without a doubt one of the WORST Treasury secretaries in our history.
So today he makes a statement to the press and basically says ALL of our financial problems over the past year are .... ready for this?
Because of 'Global economic imbalances'???
SAY WHAT?
Yup you heard it right, here's a quick quote:
In a valedictory interview, Mr Paulson cast the crisis as partly the result of a collective failure to come to terms with the way the rise of emerging markets was reshaping the global financial system. These imbalances – arising from differences in the inclinations of different nations to save and invest – are reflected in large current account deficits and surpluses around the world.
Is it me or is that just about the DUMBEST FUCKING THING you have ever heard!

I'm going to go smash my hand with a hammer for a half hour or so because maybe, just MAYBE, it will stop the pain in my head I got from reading this idiot's statements!

"It's their fault for being prudent."
No surprise here...
Much like the current generation of Americans, everything is someone else's fault.
Welcome to the idiocracy folks. It's coming like a mudslide._________________________________________

I think he should be blaming the Fed for a lot of these problems......
Recession? Just print more money! That's the easy way out! /sarcasm

The guy is a blithering idiot. I can't stand to listen to him speak for more than a minute, and when I do listen, I don't like what I hear.
All this bailout bullshit - what would you expect from a former Goldman Sachs CEO?

The sad thing is, there are people out there that will believe this BS.
