    Default New Years resolutions

I had always been a little shy about CCing with one in the chamber but after reading so many stories and points of view here & elsewhere I decided I was worried about something for nothing, so...
My new years resolution was to finally go live & CC w/one in the chamber so today I jacked one in & added another round to top off the magazine.
Doubt I'll ever need all nine 230 GR JHP .45 cal rounds to stop a bad guy, but they are there & even more ready to go now if needed.
Pray to God I never need to use them.

What was everyone else's NYR & did you do it?

When I first started to carry (Kahr CW9) I too, went without one in the pipe, for roughly 6 months. Like you, I read others experience and opinions and moved up to a fully loaded gun. It's not a toy, it's wise to not take on more then you can handle or feel comfortable with.

As for the NYR .... mine is to not make any NYR's since I never stick to them anyway.

Good luck & Happy New Year, hope it's a safe and prosperous one for all,

    Bill
