Default scary...yet is it really possible?

Belt fed Saiga-12...quite terrifying to look at, however is it even possible? or did someone just jamb a belt of rounds into the chamber just for the picture?

You can make anything work if you try hard enough. I will say the one I saw on Weaponology looked cooler than that. It was a beast.

How can the belt make a return in such a tight U? Especially since the rounds are fat.

    and the operation is backwards.
look closely. the empty slots are on the bottom of the belt...this weapon is designed to mag feed which means that the rounds would be coming in from the bottom and then being ejected out of the top...i do not see a belt working on a saiga-12...the bolt would catch and jamb on the belt, and the shells would not be able to eject nor would there be ant mechanisms to force the belt forward to bring the next shell into alignment to be loaded for the next shot.

uhh...are you guys really discussing this picture as if its REAL?

its a bandoleer belt stuffed in the open ejection port and magwell.

    thats it.

yer gonna need a whole lot more mechanicals to feed 12ga than a Saiga has.

There are unfired rounds on both sides of the action.
Looks cool at first glance, but.....I don't think so.
