Red face Lookin for new Pocket Pistol...

I am looking to buy a new pocket pistol. I have heard some good things about "Bersa Thunder .380 Concealed Carry". The price looks pretty good. How about some comments... How Say Ye? Good, Bad , or indifferent.

I say 'good', but this is coming from someone who's been carrying a Bersa Concealed Carry .380 for just about a year and a half now.

I bought my first CC .380 in early May of 2007 and it's been a great gun for me with no issues at all. Mine feeds every kind of ammo I've run through it, from cheap range ammo to multiple brands of hollowpoints. It's a small gun, so it's very easy to conceal, and it's slimmed down quite a bit from the standard Thunder .380. The CC version holds 8+1, has a loaded chamber indicator, is lighter, slightly shorter, slightly thinner, has a bobbed hammer and has a considerably lower profile beavertail.

Early this year Bersa changed the sights on the CC .380, from plain black sight blades to painted 3 dot sight blades. Being that I enjoy having sights on my guns, I ordered a second CC .380 back in June from a local gun store. The CC .380's had been backordered for a while, but it finally came in the second week of November, so now I own 2. Keep that in mind if you go out looking for one, the newer CC .380's have painted 3 dot sight blades and the older guns are plain black.

Truth be told, I own several Bersa handguns, 4 to be exact. Add a Firestorm, the sister company to Bersa, thrown in for good measure and that brings the total up to 5. While I do own quite a few Bersa's, I do own other handguns as well, so don't think I'm just here to sell Bersa's Here's a picture of my Bersa/Firestorm collection:

And for size comparison purposes, my older CC .380 next to my S&W M&P 9c:

I have one and like it. It shoots good, have not had FTF, no FTE. While it shoots HP's fine, it likes FMJ better. Most of all, it fits my hand where some of the small ones are to small. It's one to get.

My pocket pistol is a Kel Tec PF9. Before that it was a P3AT, but I gave that to my son-in-law for a wedding present. Now it is his pocket pistol. Both have performed very well, and are very very compact.

I have recently consider both Taurus PT111 and Kahr PM9. I was impressed with both guns.

The Kahr is a little smaller, has less magazine capacity, and costs a lot more.
The Taurus is slightly bigger, holds more rounds, and is priced much lower. I haven't fired either, but you might want to check them out.

    I have both a Kel-Tec P3AT and a S&W442.

They are both very good pocket guns but the P3AT is the easiest to conceal.
