Default Robbery victim claims to have gun; gets robbed anyway.

Would be interesting to know if he actually had a gun or not. Probably not since the robbers made him empty his pockets.

Pizza delivery man robbed in West End

    Wednesday, December 24, 2008
    By Sadie Gurman, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

Police are looking for a group of men who robbed a pizza delivery man last night by holding a plastic knife to his throat. The robbery happened in the 200 block of Sagamore Street in the West End, where, police said, a group of men in their teens and early 20s started yelling at the Prime Time Pizzeria delivery man as he walked to his car.

One of the men threw an object at the delivery man, grazing his leg. Police said the victim then told the group of men that he had a gun, at which point one of the men held a plastic knife to his neck and said, "then shoot me." When the delivery man failed to brandish a weapon, the man forced him to empty about $250 from his pockets. The group of men then ran toward West Carson Street.

The man with a knife is described as 5-foot-7 and 150 pounds, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a black baseball cap and dark jeans. The other men were similarly dressed, police said. Anyone with information on the robbery should call the Zone 6 police station at 412-937-3051.

HUGE difference between CLAIMING to have a gun, and ACTUALLY PULLING SAID GUN OUT AND POINTING IT AT THE BAD GUYS FACE.

a plastic knife? Those things cant even cut thru my grilled fish on the bar-b-que without snapping. I would have had to laugh at the guy first, before taking evasive action

It was probably the spoon, fork & salt & pepper packs that all come together in those pre packaged "picnic" sets
