Colt LE6920 To Keep Stock Or To Modify?!?!?!
I haven't seen many Colt 6920's posted so I thought I would throw a couple pics up as it sits now. I am contemplating some upgrades but part of me says just leave it alone...... I have a LMT CQB MRP coming in in the next few weeks and it comes pretty much perfect from Lewis with no need for any upgrades.
Thoughts???

Re: Colt LE6920 To Keep Stock Or To Modify?!?!?!
The 6920 is a good investment for the future. Personally, i think they are a better kiss rifle. As far as stuff like a FF handguard, piston system, ect, ect. I think you are better off building a rifle if that is what you are after, your paying for a colt because its a colt. If that makes any sense.
I am waiting on my dealer to get some more in stock, and i will be picking one of them up as well.I can take an assbeating like its nobodys business" - Doug Bryant

Re: Colt LE6920 To Keep Stock Or To Modify?!?!?!
What kind of modifications are you talking about?
If you mean putting a rail system with some accessories and changing the stock, then that stuff is not permanent..
You could always go back to its original look.
But if you already have a LMT MRP coming, then you can just accessorize that.
And you can leave the Colt alone.
I personally would leave it alone, but that is because I have three other AR's that I built and decked out with all the good stuff.ZRT -SECTOR-7

Yeah, those are very sweet.
I have an LMT MRP upper myself, but mine has a 12" barrel chambered in 6.8.
Just waiting on a few more parts, and then I can put her together..
LMT makes a fine instrument...
You will be pleased with it.ZRT -SECTOR-7

Re: Colt LE6920 To Keep Stock Or To Modify?!?!?!
You dog, I am leary to go the SBR route. That sounds like that is going to be a awesome rifle. I do know were a couple complete LMT lowers are coming in are if you need one let me know.
I am going to order a 6.8 18" barrel for the MRP after the rifle arrives. I am next on the list so it should be soon I hope. I am also grabbing another LMT lower.

I am really looking forward to shooting my Colt side by side to the CZ VZ 58 I just got. It (the VZ) is supposed to be very accurate for a 7.62x39. Heres a couple pics of it.
