carry options
I have a glock 26 I carry in a milt sparks summer special holster at the 3 o' clock position. It tends to hurt my hip after a while does anybody have any suggestions on what to do. Maybe a different holster or a different position. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Re: carry options
Are you wearing a proper gun belt? If not, that's the first issue to address. Next, try moving your holster a little further to the rear. If you're still having problems, consider getting a Crossbreed Supertuck, or a Comp-Tac MTAC.

Re: carry options
Ill second the move it back suggestion. 3 o'clock puts it right on the hip bone and thats bound to get uncomfortable. Try positioning it just behind your hip.
Please help my Baby Kitties and I avoid being homeless.

Re: carry options
As a fellow "Bigger guy". I'll tell you that moving my gun to say 4 0 clock or 430 made a huge difference. Took a little gettin used to, but now my arm does'nt smack it when I walk, I can put my seatbelt on w/o a problem, and its still in a good position to draw from, which you should practice when you move your piece.

I agree. I'm a 'fat' person myself (I'm actually just big-boned) and sometimes the ole love handles can get in the way of certain things - like a gun. I moved it around to about 4:30 and find that fairly comfortable sitting or standing and moving around. That's with a full-size M&P40 IWB.
