SBR/Suppressor dealers around the HBG area?

After doing some price checking on the net, I'm finding that the SBR's are better priced that regular M4's at the moment. Thinking of possibly putting together a 10" barreled M4 and adding a suppressor to it.

Any dealers you guys know of for the SBR's in the Adams, York, Cumberland, and Dauphin county region? I'm about 15 minutes north of Gettysburg.

I just got a quote from one PA dealer near Deleware that I saw was recommended in another thread, but his price was double for a RRA 10" M4 compared to what I've found so far.

I'd like to stick with a Colt setup if I could here. Thanks!

I'm leaning hard towards the Colt 6933 at this point. Wish it had an inch shorter barrel, but for a quality base M4, its tight. Saw some priced around $1400 across the country. Anything close to that within PA?

If I get a new one from an out of state dealer, do I pay the $200 tax twice to get it transferred to a local dealer and then to me?

If its on a form 3 its tax free too your dealer...Form 4 you have to pay two taxes. one from the OOS dealer to yours then from him to your form 4

I bought my le6933 from David Spiwak http://www.davidspiwak.com. He is in Bloomsberg. I bought mine a few years ago for $1249. He had them listed recently at i think $1399. Maybe you could send him an email to see if he plans on getting anymore. He was great to deal with. Oh, i got the tac-16 can from him at the same time. The tac-16 can has gone up in price a lot since i bought mine. I'd look at other options for similar cost. Not that the tac-16 is a bad can--it is just that with their increase in cost there are a lot more choices. At the time, i think the tac-16 was 249 or 299. Now they are $449.

That $1400 price for the 6933 is the best price I am currently seeing now across the country. I'd rather support a PA dealer if I can, so I'll shoot him a message.

Check Layman's in E. Prospect. It's right in the Hburg area and I've heard good things about the shop. They run suppressor/Gun specials all the time. Their archery selection was pretty good the last time I was there too.

I like Layman's, too. You just have to like the way Prospect Road twists and turns, of course.

Freedom Armory just off I83 is just off Exit 4(?) and while their prices are higher their gunsmithing is a bit better than Layman's.

50-50 either way.
