    Default Rendell proposed gun control

Here is a link from a luncheon that Rendell was speaking at about gun control.
I already wrote to him and our state reps and senator that I oppose any anti-gun control measures. Also that PA has enough laws on the books and it's time to throw the book at the criminals not at law abiding citizens. Please write to all of them.

Please contact the Governor at (717) 787-2500, your State Senator, and your State Representative, and respectfully urge them to oppose any anti-gun control measures.

Rendell said. "No one who is sane and rational would vote against one handgun a month.”

So I guess this means that anyone who votes against one handgun a month is not mentally capable of owning a firearm.

I agree the book needs to be thrown at the criminal not the law abiding citizen.

I think they should pass a law making it illegal to propose a bill with unrelated topics, this way "secret" agendas wouldn't be possible. You couldn't say they don't support X even though the real reason someone didn't vote for a bill is Y. But Y conveniently gets left out when people talk about the bill.

You guys should have posted this under Doug's thread. Is there any other place to confirm the Gov.'s statement other than NRA? Thanks for the help.
