Am I Doing Well?
So, I got my gun fairly recently (maybe 2 months ago). I've been out at the range a lot, and have shot about 1250 rounds through it so far. Using the following information, could someone let me know if I am doing alright target wise, with my gun and experience level?
Gun:
- Taurus PT-111 Mil Pro 9mm 3.25" barrel
Target (picture attached). By my counts (out of 25 shots):
- 24 (96%) on the paper
- 23 (92%) were on the target
- 16 (64%) in the black
- 4 (16%) on the X circle
I was shooting at 15 yards, 35 degree weather, medium winds. In-between-shot time was roughly 1 second on average.
Am I doing alright? I know I'm definitely better than when I started, but I'm not sure if I'm doing as well as I could be after 2 months or so. Let me know what you think."Twice today have I been told that my outfit does not match my gun..."

There are two very important factors if you ask me in shooting tight groups. First is practice, practice, practice. Second is hand strength. Keep up the good work.

Thanks all, for the reassurance. Feel much better about the direction my skill level is headed.
