Re: Sig Sauer P220 - negative feedback?
The P220ST was the 2nd pistol that I bought and I will NEVER sell it! I love it! The only downside is it is heavy as hell but its also not my carry piece (glock 23 ) I have only had TINY spec's of oxidation on the inside of the 1913 rail, some CLP cleaned it right up with no problems after it. I would recommend buying one if the chance came up and I live in state college, if I didnt own one already I would buy that one offered by NittanyMarine in a heartbeat!
Cheers,
Josh

Re: Sig Sauer P220 - negative feedback?
My 220ST is one of many SIGs that I own. It's been a dream to shoot, and believe me I test-fired and researched a number of different .45ACP platforms before settling on the 220.
There are apparently some older models that had extractor issues, but according to everyone I've talked to SIG was great about taking care of those problems.
If you're buying a newer 220, I think you'll be very pleased.

Re: Sig Sauer P220 - negative feedback?
Well, I emailed the member selling the P220 from central PA that I will buy it from him. Thanks GunRunnersofPA. Looks like another transfer for me. That will be three in the last two months!

Re: Sig Sauer P220 - negative feedback?
Was cruising through a couple of SIG websites and was checking out some new
wooden grips for the sig P226/P220. On Sig site under "services", I saw an ad for
sig C.T.U., "Custom Tune Up" They advised that for a mere $129.00, for there five
year program, in the course of overhauling, detail striping/ cleaning etc., they will
will replace the trigger bar spring, along with two others. All I know is that being
a sig armourer for may years, and having a friend that is a Gunsmith with over
twenty five years of expierence, lends me to believe, there selling something of a
solution to a barely existing problem.FUNDAMENTALS

Sig P220 = God's gift to the shooting world. It's THE single stack .45 to get if you want DA/SA capability.

Re: Sig Sauer P220 - negative feedback?
Picking up the P220R with Night Sights tonight at GunRunnersofPA's place. Can't wait! It has been about 6 years since I have shot one.
Now to find a holster that will accommodate the rail. I have an email into Blackhawk to find out if theirs will work.
See you on the range!VEGETARIAN: Native American word meaning "bad hunter"
