AK Mag release

Anyone have any advice to lightening the push on the mag release paddle on an ak? The one on mine is extremely stiff and I would like to lighten it up.

I don't know which one you have, but you could always get a larger one (like the one from Red Star Arms), a larger lever reduces the amount of force you feel when working the release (leverage).

Spray it with break free and watch your favorite tv show and just keep working it it is either just tight from the build or it's full of junk from the build. Not only will you get it to work easier but you'll feel better that you spent a good half hour of quality time with your Ak.
