    Default New Taurus PT1911 Grips!

I have got to get me a set of these!

New Custom walnut grips fro Taurus! I single handedly started the PT1911 Pachmayer ALS fad across the interwebs, now it's time to switch it up some! LOL

That you did Rocketfoot!!! And sweet grips they are!! Perfect, I can get a pair or each. Went out and got a PT1911 in stainless and found out that the significant other also bought me one in stainless for the holidays!!! I'm keeping both!!!!! And you found me the grips so I can tell them apart!

Cool Re: New Taurus PT1911 Grips!

They are nice. I just sent a money order on its way to an on line gun dealer(buds) to have my brand new, in the box, stainless PT1911 with standard black grips, shipped to my favorite local gun shop (who I can't afford to buy guns from because he cannot beat the deals I can get from the .com shop). I do like the bull head grips, I just realized I am a taurus (born in May), wow that is gay. I plan on adding some other grips to my 1911ss. I have a compace Springfield that started out blued but spent the last two years wearing some field expideted cammo. Whats that got to do with you bull grips? Nothing just love to talk about guns.

What did you do with the pachmayers? I would like to thank you rocketfoot. You single handedly are responsible for my pt1911 with your last thread and now I am going to have to spend all sorts of money on grips. I was at the shop paying more money so I can have it by next friday.

That's not my PT1911...mine still has the ALS's on it. I would like to pick up a set of these Bull's Head Walnut stocks so I can swap them out when I feel like it. Every 1911 should have a few different outfits! I can't find them on the web yet. Only Taurus foctory has them.

I've been thinking about replacing my ALS's with some VZ Diamondbacks. My FIL has already called dibs on the ALS's, though. Lol.

I like the cross between the American checkered pattern and the European stripple pattern on the Bull Head Grips. I think thats what is attracting me to them!

There is something about them that I don't like. Maybe if they were a lighter color.

They are a direct rip-off of Hakan Pek, a grip maker from the Netherlands who makes custom grips for CZ's, 1911's and a few others.
