HK Threaded Barrel
I have a HK USP and would like to purchase a suppressor for it in the future. It is not a Tactical so I was wondering if it would be easier/less expensive to acquire a threaded barrel for it or just find a Tactical model to buy. For that matter does anyone even make replacement barrels for them? I just figure I'd ask while we're on the subject and because mine has the std. land & groove barrel and I know they now make them with polygonal rifling.

Re: HK Threaded Barrel
If it is a USP .40 or .45 check out this link.
They have the factory HK tactical threaded barrels for both the USP .45 full size, and compact. And the USP .40 full size. No 9mm
At $235, it is definitely cheaper than buying another gun.
And don't forget to get a thread protector as well. They have them too for $29.
I buy all my HK parts from them.

Re: HK Threaded Barrel
Alright! I guess my only remaining question is whether the USP tactical barrel will work with my non tactical slide. It looks like the tactical barrel has a groove for an Oring. Will it work with my slide, will I need to modify it to accomidate the oring or am I overthinking things?
Thanks, that site is gettin bookmarked!Warning: I may not read responses to OP before posting

Re: HK Threaded Barrel
No problem. It is the best site for HK parts & accessories.
I have the USP .45 Tactical Compact myself, and I am not sure it the slides are different, but I have a little green Oring on my barrel.
Call the number on the sight, and speak to Adam. He knows his shit.
He would be able to tell you in a second if it would work.ZRT -SECTOR-7

Alright, Thanks. I will look into this after the Valley Forge gun show, with whatever money I may have left afterwards.

Re: HK Threaded Barrel
Now if I can only find a P9s threaded barrel. I know I can have mine threaded but I like to have the orig. and then a separate threaded barrel. MLSECPRO had some for $595 IIRC a little while ago, but it just isn't that much of a priority to spend that kind of money.
