Question on Gun Legality and if permits are needed
I am originally from Mercer County but have spent grew up at Conneaut Lake during the summers Permanent resident of Arizona but now split time as we purchased a home in Conneaut Lake in late 2022. I recently purchased two firearms. Both Smith and Wesson M&P 9's. One is the piston and the other is an FPC rifle. Was unsure about the legality as S&W does NOT classify it as an assault rifle. I called Dunham's in Meadville to see if they sell this particular weapon and indeed they do, so they answered my question as I wil l be transporting them to PA for the summer and early fall. Are any permits needed. They will be kept in the house and just for the Shooting range. Not concealed carry. Please advise. Thanks.

Re: Question on Gun Legality and if permits are needed
No permits are needed. As far as transport goes, this sticky probably answers any question you may come up with. https://forum.pafoa.org/showthread.php?t=7582
Getting a ltcf will make your life easier assuming you do not already have an Arizona license to carry.
