    Default NEW!!! Hi-Point AR15 - HP-15

LOL!!! Only a few years late to the party and likely not going to be the poor man's AR that people will expect of them.
There's already so many budget/entry level AR15s that I can't see the point, but good luck to them nonetheless.

I watched two vids and dude doesn't even know the basic specs. LOL

I*m sure the quality will be on par with everything else they make, unless someone else makes it for them.

Obviously someone else is making them for them - he even acknowledges that in the video.

He claims that they intend to one day make it all in-house.
I'll believe that when I see it.

Finally a gun that actually holds more than 10 rounds.
Did the company founder die? I thought he was an anti-high cap mag guy?

I have a friend that suggested hi-point bought out Del-ton, which would make sense.

They've sold aftermarket hi-caps on their website for years. I suspect their reason for never making a double stack pistol was economic, up until the yeet cannon they basically only made 2 different guns, and the major difference was size. Considering their price point it doesn't make sense for them to pour money into R&D for something they can't ship out to every state.

Did I hear him say cold hammer forged barrel?

The only "budget" CHF barrels I'm familiar with are Bear Creek Arsenal.
Wondered if they were having them make them.

The point is that most of their customer base has gone onto AR pistols and Dracos, so this is their way of reconnecting with their market lol
