Re: Centre Hall 12 - 13 April
I was thinking about posting this show. It seems the only place to find out it even exists now is their website, Gunshow trader still doesn't have it listed.

I'll be there. It's always a nice show to walk around, even if I just end up buying food half the time. IIRC, it runs from 9am-3pm both days.

Re: Centre Hall 12 - 13 April
Benny's post deserves attention for ALL SHOWS. There were times when it was pretty busy, with a good crowd that usually moved through unless someone was really looking at stuff. However, if people are blocking a table while bullsh!tt!ing, the seller would certainly appreciate them moving. For any shows where this is occurring, I'll suggest that attendees politely ask to have access to the tables blocked by the BSers (e.g. "Do you mind if I can get a better look at what's on that table?"). Sellers get frustrated when people block tables. Even if an individual is BSing with the seller, if you want to see what's there, don't be bashful in getting close, then poke around both sides of them. The seller should not mind people showing interest in their stuff, and if anyone gets pissy about it, they should not be hanging out in a crowded area. Ask them, "You're at a crowded gun show, and you're blocking these tables. What do you expect? Would you want me to move if my crowd was there and you wanted to see something?" Then thank them or tell them to shove something up their @$$, whatever's appropriate.

Re: Centre Hall 12 - 13 April
This happened to me at the bloomsburg show about 3 years ago. I was with my wife and 4yo son and 2 guys started to argue with me when I asked them if I could get in front to look at the guns. It damn near came to a fight when one of them who was less aggressive all of a sudden become the big dick and got closer to me almost squaring up. Not sure if they were from a commie state but there was about 5 more words to hands being thrown. It wasn*t pleasant at all. I feel there is a massive entitlement complex with a lot of people and these were not young guys they were prolly in their 40*s but clearly very immature and entitled. I did not back down either so I can*t blame them entirely

Yes, just standing around BSing in front of tables or blocking the aisles at a show is inconsiderate. However pushing your way into the middle of people looking at items on display tables calls for most discerning judgment. Grabbing items out from under someone or sticking your nose in the middle of a deal can subject the interloper to anything from stern words of admonishment (warranted) to an @$$kicking (excessive).
It's always best to proceed with courtesy and respect. Though some just don't get that.

the majority of our grabbing out from under others ? is between our group that rode in together . one will stay in front of us , no matter what . i have pondered stuff before and watched it sell to the very next browser. so i make the decision then and there or i leave it .the ones i missed ? bother me more than the deals i score .
